Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of RAVNIX services and is designed to protect our customers, network, and reputation. Violation of this policy may result in service suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our network:
Illegal Activities
- • Any activity that violates local, state, or federal laws
- • Distribution of illegal content
- • Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
- • Drug trafficking or illegal substance sales
Network Abuse
- • DDoS attacks or network flooding
- • Port scanning or vulnerability scanning of external networks
- • Botnet command and control
- • Cryptocurrency mining without explicit permission
Spam and Email Abuse
- • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- • Operating open mail relays
- • Email harvesting or list building
- • Phishing or email fraud
Content Violations
- • Copyright infringement or piracy
- • Adult content involving minors
- • Hate speech or discriminatory content
- • Malware distribution
3. Resource Usage
Fair usage of server resources is expected:
- • CPU usage should not consistently exceed allocated resources
- • Network usage should be reasonable and not impact other customers
- • Storage should not exceed plan limits
- • Backup and archival services are not for primary storage
4. Security Requirements
Customers are responsible for securing their services:
- • Keep software and operating systems updated
- • Use strong passwords and secure authentication
- • Monitor for unauthorized access
- • Report security incidents promptly
5. Compliance and Monitoring
RAVNIX reserves the right to monitor network traffic and investigate suspected violations. We may suspend services immediately if we detect activities that threaten our network or other customers.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- • Warning and request for corrective action
- • Temporary service suspension
- • Permanent account termination
- • Legal action if required
7. Reporting Violations
To report AUP violations, please contact abuse@ravnix.gg with detailed information about the incident. We investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
